What can I say? I’m easily hooked

Hello.

So I realised I haven’t blogged in a while. I could tell you I’ve been busy with work and that it’s been keeping me away from the Internet BUT I’D BE LYING. You see, friends, I’ve been spending all my free time watching Criminal Minds. A lot of Criminal Minds. How much? Well, I’ve watched every single episode ever produced – that’s 127 episodes – and all that, in about 24 days. Let’s now do the math, why don’t we? Yes, that’s about 5.3 episodes a day. Is this an indication that I’m obsessed? Are you judging me yet? Thought so.

But have you seen the actors on the show? I mean, there are some seriously beautiful people in there, so much so that I sometimes feel like a teenager all again swooning over them. *coughs*

Anyhoo. I was looking over my 30 before 30 list and realised that I haven’t been doing a whole lot to fulfil any of them (except #1 – I’m totally on track thus far) and decided I’d better get cracking. First one I’m gonna embark on? #19, send a package to my sponsored child. It’s the most do-able for now, but I need help. I have NO idea what to send! She’s 12 and is apparently quite a reserved child. Would she like stickers? Perhaps some colouring pencils and an accompanying book? Should I send her a photo of myself? Any thoughts?

Here’s my Song of the Day. Wish I had her voice.

If I Ain’t Got You, by Alicia Keys

Because A Cappella gives me the chills

I should probably be blogging about my recent trip to Koh Samui but I’m too fresh off watching clips from The Sing-Off to post about the amazing resort we were staying at. So we’ll leave that till later, okay?

So please watch these 2 clips (before they’re taken off YouTube), then gush with me, why don’t you? :)

Use Somebody, by all the contestants

The remaining contestants (Committed’s Apologize was insanely good)

I know you’ll agree with me…

A capella is THE BEST.

You don’t think so? Well, you should move along then. Nothing for you to see here.

But if you love it as much as I do, then watch these clips from The Sing-Off. It’s a great, great competition, the vocals are CRAMAZING, and I’m bummed there are only 5 episodes.

This Love, by Committed
They had an insanely tight melody and smooth, smooth vocals.

Grace Kelly, by The Whifenpoofs
This was unexpectedly good from these Yale boys. Yes, book smart & musical too. It just ain’t fair!

Bad Romance, by On The Rocks
You might have already seen them on YouTube, but it’s still fun to watch nonetheless. :)

You can listen to the rest of the contestants here.

Cousins? We NEED to finish Project Lean On Me.
