Etsy Finds #2

Can you believe 2011 will be over in a couple of months? Well, I sure am glad, cos this year has been… exhausting to say the least. Then again, when has it not been exhausting? That’s how life is supposed to work, right? It’s supposed to be filled with plenty of crappy moments, and then some good memories here and there. Still, I look forward to each new year with much enthusiasm and anticipation, hopeful that things will get better. :)

Here are some pretty cool calendars that I found on Etsy. Gosh, I love that site.

Here’s one that hangs off of a clipboard, convenient for the office or in the bedroom:

Like tea towels? This also doubles up as a calendar and is perfect for the kitchen:

Looking for some wall art? Make it a calendar.

This one here is my personal favourite, which I’m definitely gonna get. :)

Finally, one for monthly inspirations:

Til I Hear It From You, by Gin Blossoms

Etsy Finds #1

I’m starting a semi-regular feature of my favourite finds on Etsy. Because like many, I have plenty of love for handmade, gorgeous things. :)

Appreciate wit? Think some (healthy) sarcasm is fun? ;)

If I were a teen, I would buy all these buttons in a heartbeat.

Be sure to check out the Carbon Crusader. It’s fun, delightful and you can get custom engrave pencils too.

Vacational purchase

It’s such a girly thing, isn’t it? Shopping for a trip.

A few of my colleagues were talking about buying outfits/bags for an upcoming vacation, much to the bewilderment of a male colleague, who didn’t quite understand why it was necessary to “waste money” when money would already be “wasted” on plenty of shopping during the trip.

Ah, men. They just don’t get it. They don’t understand that it’s important to look good on a trip, as you’ll be taking heaps of photos, and it is precisely because of this reason, that we need to ensure we style ourselves properly so we can look good for the camera. Ergo, buying stuff before the trip is super essential.

Fortunately for me, my trip isn’t until the end of the year, so I have plenty of time left to get myself ready. Hehe. But that doesn’t mean I’m not already on the lookout for a couple of nice coats and a bag, despite the fact that I already have some… For that, I blame ASOS. They should never have offered free international shipping! ;)

Here are some bags I have my eye on:

Reiss Dorchester Lock Shoulder Bag
and Karen Millen Colour-Block Shopper Bag

French Connection Matilda Leather Shopper Bag and Kate Sheridan Pocket Tote

Cambridge Satchel Company 14″ Satchel and ASOS WHITE Harris Satchel

Don’t you just love online shopping? :p
