in Singapore

Yep. I went back to Marina Bay again. I really wanted to see the other art installations featured at i Light Marina Bay, so after a quick but satisfying dinner at Space @ My Humble House with the parents, we took a leisurely 2-hour stroll along Marina Bay to check out the other installations.

Key Frames, by Group LAPS:

EnLIGHTenment, by Edwin Tan (foreground):

Garden of Light, by Hexogon Solution (right, and you’ll notice that the image projected on it has changed from the previous photo):

Not part of the installation, but it was a good view of the Floating Platform:

The Andy Warhol exhibition at the ArtScience Museum (I’m soooo going!):

Couldn’t resist taking this shot of the Singapore skyline set against the water feature outside the ArtScience museum:

BioShell, by Shinya Okuda:

The Light Dam, by Uno Lai:

Here’s an interesting one that got a lot of attention. The Gate, by Li Hui is made up of hundreds of small beams of low intensity laser light that radiates straight past the viewer.

And here’s my dad being part of this installation:

Gap the Mind, by Be Takerng Pattanopas:

Receptacle, by Marine Ky

Bibigloo, by BIBI

Coral Garden, by Olivia d’Aboville

Light of the Merlion, by OCUBO

[edit]

Got to give a special mention to Classification Pending, by Craig Walsh. My Lumix didn’t allow me to capture this freaky-cool installation, but you need to see this.

So. Why aren’t you visiting i Light Marina Bay yet? ;)
